OMICS-DRIVEN INDIVIDUALIZED INFECTION MEDICINE
research cartoon

Our research group in Hannover, Germany has always been passionate about unraveling the secrets of how our genes influence our health — exploring how the unique aspects of our genetic makeup shape everything from the risk of infections to our responses to vaccines and even the severity of immune-related diseases.

We use cutting-edge technologies such as multi-omics, multi-modal single-cell genomics and spatial genomics, along with machine learning/AI methods, to propel the field of individualized infection medicine forward.

We are looking for motivated students to join our team and work on exciting projects at the intersection of genetics, immunology, and bioinformatics.
